Identifying personal data is only available in the cantonal cancer registries and in the Childhood Cancer Registry. The National Agency for Cancer Registration does not have any identifying personal data (name, address, AHV number, etc.). If special reasons exist, cancer registry data may also be used with information about the person for research projects. A prerequisite for this is the consent of the data subject or approval by an ethics committee.
Requests for data subject to approval must be sent to the cantonal cancer registry or to the Childhood Cancer Registry.
